This size of Betsy Ross flag normally measures 36 x 60 inches, but you should expect shrinkage of about two inches in each direction from the antiquing process.

Vintage style 3 x 5 Antiqued Betsy Ross Flag details and flag meaning

This custom made flag has a blue field of cotton fabric that is double stitched at the edges with 13 embroidered stars representing the original thirteen colonies of the young American republic. The thirteen alternating white and red stripes consist of double stitched cotton fabric each. An early Continental Congress official stated, “The colors of the pales (the vertical stripes) are those used in the flag of the United States of America; White signifies purity and innocence, Red, hardiness & valor, and Blue, the color of the Chief (the broad band above the stripes) signifies vigilance, perseverance, & justice.”
