Remington Bronco Buster Bronze Sculpture

Remington Bronco Buster. Originally cast by the Henry-Bonnard Bronze Company beginning in 1895, these Frederic Remington sculptures are wonderfully lifelike bronze statues. This fine art reproduction titled The Bronco Buster is Remington’s first and the most famous of his western bronze sculptures.

With no formal training in sculpting but with a superb understanding of horses and horsemanship, Remington was able to capture the struggle between the persistent and the rebellious.

While the original Bronco Buster was cast using the sand casting method (wax to plaster to baked sand to bronze), these art reproductions of the Remington sculptures are produced using the lost wax casting method. Of the two methods, lost wax casting is usually preferred because the reproduction more closely resembles the artist’s original model.

Remington Bronco Buster Sizes Available

We offer five sizes of the bronco buster:

1. Our 4 1/2 inch mini-bronco with a 2 x 3 x 3/4 inch marble base and room for a 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch brass plaque is great for large events with multiple awards.

2. the 9 inch bronco buster (image and pricing featured) comes with a 4 x 6 x 3/4 inch walnut base and room for a 1/2 x 3 plaque.

3. the medium desktop 12 inch bronco buster with a 5 1/4 x 9 x 1 1/2 inch walnut base and room for a 1 x 4 inch brass plaque.

Two larger sizes of Remington bronze statues are available and are perfect for board rooms, lodges, etc. and are western decor accent suitable for most ranch, rodeo or western business environments.

4. The 23 inch full size standard size Remington bronco buster comes with a 10 x 17 x 1 1/2 inch walnut base and has normally fits a 1 x 4 inch brass plaque. Note: the 23 inch is not shown on our comparison picture but of course is still the same great quality and craftsmanship (sorry ’bout that).

5. The 31 inch jumbo size (manufactured larger than the original full size) bronco buster come with an 18 x 24 x 1 1/2 inch genuine walnut base and normally has a 1 x 4 inch brass plaque for personalization.
