Michael Boyett Art Bio

At a very young age, Michael Boyett (1943 – 2015) recognized his interest and talent in art. His family tended to move around quite a bit as his father was a career office for the US Air Force. Michael saw much of the country and used his imagination to sketch fanciful scenes of what early frontier life may have looked like. Cowboys, Horses, and old west heroes galloped through his drawings and came to life in his mind. Michael took these ideas and turned them into the beautiful western bronze sculptures that he creates today.

Through his sculptures, Michael believed that the viewer can get a glimpse into the past. He puts days of work into each piece, stressing the sculptures with just the right amount of movement. Because of his excellent attention to detail, Michael’s works are critically acclaimed and thoroughly loved throughout the art world. You can find many of his pieces in museums and government institutions across the world.
